The Portfolio Analyst will be responsible for assisting in portfolio management of the Commercial Loan Portfolio. Portfolio management includes reporting, monitoring and coordinating with lending staff to assure complete and accurate report content. Participation in weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting will also be a key component of this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Update weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual production and monitoring reports
• Assist in reviewing, maintaining, and creating department procedures
• Assist with overseeing the loans and projects within the construction portfolio including, budget monitoring, advances, GL reconciliation, and Board reporting
• Assist with facilitating the department’s quality assurance program to ensure accuracy within the Bank’s commercial lending portfolio
• Maintain financial statement and required loan documentation tracking and prepare corresponding request letters
• Process incoming financials and save into the Document Manager system in nCino
• Monitor and track loan covenants within the portfolio
• Perform ongoing maintenance of portfolio management files imaged on DocStar and nCino
• Assist with document gathering for loan sales, participations and pledged assets
• Assist with portfolio monitoring of delinquent and matured loans, line of credit renewals, construction status reports, etc.
• Prepare loan modification and extension forms
• Participate in any current and future department goals
• Assist management on any ad hoc requests

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• College degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent education preferred
• Excellent decision making /problem solving skills
• Working knowledge of commercial loan documentation and loan regulations preferred
• Knowledge of computers and lending software
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize workflow in a multi-tasking environment
• Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with a team
• General understanding of report generation is preferred, but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, formula generation, charts/graphs and merging data is preferred
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism at all times
• Strong communication skills
• Strong desire to complete tasks in a timely manner
