Northern Bank is looking for a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to join our Finance team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Director of FP&A will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning process developing key drivers and high-level targets and metrics.  This includes forecasted impacts on capital, liquidity, and profitability metrics.
  • Conduct financial analysis on a business unit (BU) level of results and provides support and in-depth reporting on each BU as an internal consultant.
  • Input into stress testing process developing scenarios in concert with the Treasury and Accounting functions.
  • Develop customer, product, and officer profitability metrics via performance measurement and relationship pricing models.
  • Review and direct expense & revenue allocations.
  • Develop analysis for investment, sourcing, cost reduction and revenue enhancement supporting business decisions.
  • Provide timely and accurate internal management reporting to the Bank’s lines of business as well as Senior Management.  Reporting shall be consumable and actionable in order to enhance the understanding of the company’s performance and key drivers and information for decision support.
  • Provide capital modeling and hurdle analysis. 
  • Act as central financial liaison between the executive team and operational divisions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7-10 years’ experience in a banking institution managing the FP&A process.
  • Advance degree preferable.
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude
